Medical History and Assessment
Initial visits will consist of a consultation of your medical history and a thorough examination of your current condition or injury. These steps help Darla provide you with an appropriate and safe treatment plan. The treatment goal is to help relieve your symptoms and prevent them from reoccurring.
ICBC and complicated conditions or chronic conditions often require longer examination time therefore may affect treatment time. During hands on treatment Darla will check with you to make sure you're comfortable with both environment and pressure. You will be properly covered if any area of the body needs to be exposed for effective treatment. Darla may take a moderate approach to the first treatment to determine response and reaction and adjust the treatment as necessary for future visits.
Towards the end of the treatment Darla takes time to discuss her findings and recommendations and may provide patient education and remedial exercises.
